At the show in Gorinchem today Leonardo van de Franckenahoeve got 1 Very Promising and Best Puppy. In the honour ring he became 3rd Best Puppy of the day. Most mastiff puppies are never placed.

A week ago we welcomed two girls, who had to be rehomed because one of their owners died. You can find them to go to Eliska and Lareyna.

At the Molossershow today Leonardo van de Franckenahoeve got 1 Very Promising and Laga van de Franckenahoeve got also 1 Very Promising and went Best Puppy.

This weekend we had a double show in Zwolle. On Saterday Opeth (Largo van de Franckenahoeve) got in Puppy Class: 1 Very Promising and Best Puppy. Krato van de Franckenahoeve got in Open class 1 Excellent, CAC, CACIB, BOB.
On sunday Laga van de Franckenahoeve got in Puppy class also 1 Very Promising and Best Puppy.

Last week we had to say goodbye to Lento (Rumblerush's Lento) and Lady (Glamour Girl van de Franckenahoeve). Lento had bone cancer in her front leg, the chance to get a fracture became bigger and her walking became harder and harder.
Lady seem to have a tumor in her pelvic cavity, because of that it became harder to get ride of her defecation, just after the diagnosis she got another spot on her tail.
We decided to let them go together, it would have only been days. For the ones who are left behind in the pack we thought it should be better to just have one disturbance than two shortly after each other.
Losing 4 dogs in 7 months is quite a lot...

Baby class dogs: 1VP, Best Baby Largo van de Franckenahoeve, 2VP Lincoln van de Franckenahoeve, 3VP Leonardo van de Franckenahoeve, 4VP Lyndon van de Franckenahoeve.
Open class dogs: 4EXC Krato van de Franckenahoeve.
Baby class bitches: 1VP Laga van de Franckenahoeve.
Krato did also compete for Best Movement.

Yesterday we welcomed our 9 beautiful puppies, 6 dogs and 3 bitches, but we lost their mother Fluffy, she didn't wake up anymore...She was just 27 months.
We know that life and death can be close sometimes, but this is too close...

Yesterday we had to say good bye to Tycho (Bardolynn's Damian). He reached the age of 13 years and one month.

Very good news, this morning we did the ultrasound and Fluffy is pregnant.

This weekend Fluffy has been mated, we had to go for another dog, but also this one we like a lot. It is Quinn of Seven Oaks.
In 4 weeks we hope that we know more, after the ultrasound.
